Since
Reiki has been passed down via different Reiki Masters
and Reiki Teachers (Eastern and Western), you will
find there are variations in what is covered in Reiki Two
(both in substance and in form). However, the main teachings
should be covered. With the attunements (initiation,
empowerment), you are "connected" to the Reiki Source,
enabling you to become a channel for Reiki Energy.
Reiki Level 2 Course (also known as Reiki Second Degree / Okuden) The second degree in Reiki is for students who, having completed the first degree, wish to become Reiki Practitioners. Most Reiki 2 courses or workshops cover the following (not necessarily in this specific order): Quick recap of Reiki history, hand positions, principles and ethics, etc. (where necessary). Some Reiki Masters and Teachers offer Reiki 1 and 2 together or each level within a short space of time. In that case, you may not need to repeat all the basics from level one. Reiki II takes your Reiki to a professional level. You become a Reiki Practitioner.
